“Past, Present and Future of Sand Reclamation”

Our speaker will be Glen Greta. Some of you may remember Glen from a few years ago when he spoke on “Past, Present and Future of Sand Reclamation.” This year we are very happy to have Glen join us again and give an update on Reclamation along with some history of our industry and the impact that no-bake cores and molds has had on our recent past.

For those of you who don’t remember Glen, Glen has been in the foundry industry since 1961. He has performed every job from core and mold maker to cupola and electric furnace tending to grinding and engineer. Glen has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Metallurgy. He has served with the Army Corps of Engineers and trained as a combat engineer. Glen also has extensive experience in insulating products and coatings and has been a CMI instructor.
