John Foo joins us from the AMMAT Technology Company located in Dublin. “AMMAT Technology Company is a leading international firm to provide metal components, functioning specialty materials and investment service worldwide. The metal components include finish machined metal castings, forgings, fabricating and assembling. The functioning specialty materials are additives in polymer compounding, metal and silica sand. These products are found applications in machinery, polymers and coating, metal castings, automotive and oil and natural gas production. Joined by its key partners in China the company has access to broad resources of research and development and production base in many variety and deliver satisfactory results in amazing solutions and effectiveness.”

The American Foundry Society (AFS) was founded in 1896
to provide and promote knowledge and services that strengthen the metalcasting industry for the ultimate benefit of its customers and society.
Since then the AFS has grown into an international organization with over 10,000
with members in 47 countries and today there are 52 local chapters and 33 student chapters affiliated with the AFS in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Membership in the AFS is open to anyone interested to support and promote the foundry industry and includes membership in the chapter closest to your residence.
